Raventor is the training ground for many Peak District locals. Unlike the gritstone crags around it, it’s steep limestone—famously unforgiving and challenging.
Since June 2024, we have been projecting some of the classic boulders here, making the six-hour round trips, sometimes in a day. And despite how intimidating the crag can feel, every session became something memorable: new faces, old friends, and a shared obsession with trying hard.
Climber: Dawid Skoczylas is a Peak District climber known for opening some of the area’s most iconic hard routes.
